Capturing this Pretty Place Chapel intimate wedding ceremony was a dream! These two and their families welcomed me with open arms to share in this joyous day. In addition to meticulous planning and preparation that truly paid off, the couple was blessed with a clear view of the mountains from the chapel, and a glowing sunset. This destination wedding at Fred W. Symmes Chapel in Cleveland, SC was one of my favorites this past fall! I had the opportunity to meet the bride, and mother of the bride in person prior to the wedding day. With destination weddings, this isn’t always the case, but a welcomed bonus! Seeing everything fall into place made it all the more meaningful. Although the bride and groom chose a traditional first look to happen when the bride, Courtney, walked down the aisle, they also opted for a “first touch.” Just before the ceremony, they shared a private moment back-to-back while holding hands. A chance to take a deep breath together and soak it all in before the ceremony. Brevard locals Anarie, Petal and Fern, and Mike Holder did a fabulous job with hair and makeup, stunning florals, and officiating, respectively. Congratulations, Courtney and Greg! Thank you for trusting me to photograph your wedding day!
